Ana Roxanne and DJ Python have launched a new collaborative project, Natural Wonder Beauty Concept.
The first release to emerge from the duo is a self-titled album which draws on elements of ambient, jungle, trip-hop and downtempo music. You can watch a video for lead track ‘Sword’ above.
The two artists started early work on Natural Wonder Beauty Concept some time after meeting in New York City in the winter of 2020. After a year apart, due to respective touring commitments and Roxanne’s relocation from New York to the Bay Area, they ultimately finished the record via studio sessions in Los Angeles and New York in the latter half of 2022.
Mexican Summer will release Natural Wonder Beauty Concept on July 14, 2023.
