Sacred Bones Shares Second Track From ‘Lost’ Alan Vega LP

'Fist' is described by the late Suicide frontman's partner Liz Lamere as a "powerful call for action to the people to muster their power"

Sacred Bones has shared a second cut from Mutator, a previously unreleased album by the late Alan Vega.

‘Fist’, which you can listen to above, is described by Vega’s partner and frequent collaborator Liz Lamere as a "powerful call for action to the people to muster their power, come together and Make One Nation."

Mutator, which was first announced last month, was recorded by Vega and Lamere in New York from 1995 to 1996, and was discovered among the Suicide frontman’s vast archives of unreleased material in 2019 by Lamere and Vega’s close friend Jared Artaud. Sacred Bones is lining up a series of archival releases to follow Mutator, featuring material discovered in what’s come to be known as the ‘Vega Vault’.

Sacred Bones will release Mutator on April 23, 2021.
