Ahead of the final ceremony on September 3, the nominees for the 2013 AIM Independent Music Awards have been announced.
Rough Trade founder Geoff Travis and Bill Bragg have already been named as the recipients of the Pioneer Award and Outstanding Contribution to Music award respectively, and it’s good to say a couple of the Quietus’ favourite albums of the year so far – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Push The Sky Away and Jon Hopkins’ Immunity – in the list, as well as Soundway’s excellent Kenya Special compilation, also given top honours by us – have a look at the list in full below:
