Aidan Moffat: Scottish Music Doc Preview

Moffat and Paul Fegan presenting a few choice clips from Where You're Meant To Be, their documentary of a musical road trip around Scotland

After taking a tour all over Scotland to perform songs and tell stories everywhere from Glasgow’s Barrowlands and The Caves in Edinburgh to Faslane Peace Camp and the Ness Social Club earlier this year, Aidan Moffat and film-maker Paul Fegan are now gearing up to release the documentary, Where You’re Meant To Be, they made on the way. They’ve announced a preview event, taking place at Barrowlands on August 31, which will involve the duo presenting key scenes from the film, interspersed with Moffat performing songs alongside a few faces from the trip itself, including bothy balladeers Joe Aitken and Geordie Murison and trad-folk man Danny Couper.

There’s an ace trailer for it above, keep an eye on Moffat’s Twitter for updates on tickets and make sure you read Nicola Meighan talking to Moffat and Fegan about their tour here.
