AG.R97 Share New Single, ‘Vibora Serpentina’

It's the latest taste of the Portuguese experimental duo's forthcoming debut album Painwave

AG.R97, a duo consisting of Portuguese experimental mainstays Luís Neto (formerly of Shell From Oceanic) and Pedro Pimentel (AKA Wordclock), have shared a new single, called ‘Vibora Serpentina’.

The new track, which you can watch a video for above, appear on their debut album, Painwave, which comprises nine tracks recorded between 2020 and 2021. You can find an in-depth interview with the duo on tQ later this month.

The two musicians, who started out in metal bands, met at college and subsequently opened a studio together in Gaia, Portugal. They began releasing songs via an anonymous YouTube channel shortly after, and then contributed to the acclaimed TRV001 compilation, which was released via the audiovisual, Luís Neto-co-founded label Turva.

Turva will release Painwave on November 11, 2022.
