Afrofuturism Now! is an event taking place in Rotterdam this October which aims to combine avant-garde, sci-fi and other works from the black diaspora for a weekend of music and activities.
The event, organised by WORM, this year sees them invite activist Rasheedah Phillips, founder of The Afrofuturist Affair, to co-curate activities which will include workshops, performances, reading, films, art and more. There will be live music from King Britt, Islam Chipsy, Morgan Craft, DJ Spoko and a whole host more. Afrofuturism Now! takes place from October 14-18 in Rotterdam and you can find out more details as well as the full range of music and activities here.
