Detroit electronic duo ADULT. will be releasing their fifth album The Way Things Fall (artwork above) on May 13 via Ghostly International, and here’s a taster of what to expect – listen to ‘Idle (Second Thoughts)’ below:
The Way Things Fall comes six years after their previous LP Why Bother?, due to the husband-and-wide duo being "totally burnt out" from that record’s supporting world tour. With the break came a resurgence in creativity, says band member Adam Lee Miller: "[The album] flowed efficiently and agreeably for us. We have never worked better together. We believe this is because we exorcised all of our demons through our past records, we have no baggage, we started anew. We left behind the self-conscious adolescents."
The duo will also be playing three dates in Europe following the album’s release:
