Actress has launched a new label, called Werk__Ltd. Its first release will come in the form of a mini-LP by Young Paint, which is described as "a Learning Program that has been progressively emulating" Actress’ music since his 2008 LP Hazyville.
The self-titled release incorporates music produced by Actress, real name Darren Cunningham, while one of its aliases is listed as AZD, which was also the title of Cunnigham’s 2017 LP as Actress and is an anagram of his childhood nickname.
The six-track release will be available through Werk__Ltd and The Vinyl Factory from September 29. Actress will perform live with Young Paint on October 13th at Peckham’s Copeland Park. Details on that can be found here while you can pre-order the release here.
