Actress has a new album on the way, titled Даррен Дж. Каннінгем.
Building on a partnership with the label Smalltown Supersound that was established earlier this year with the June release of the album Statik, this latest record is centred around music that the UK producer made for a Resident Advisor podcast which was shared online in June. It will be released digitally, as well as on CD, vinyl and cassette formats.
When asked at the time of its original publication via RA whether the featured material made up a new album, the artist, real name Darren S. Cunningham, said: “It’s a collage – Braque.” The record derives its name from Cunningham’s birth name in Ukrainian.
Smalltown Supersound will release Даррен Дж. Каннінгем on November 15, 2024.
