3. SbsmLeave Your Body
This work is brilliant. This is one of my favorite bands in the universe. They don’t really play any more, but SBSM are geniuses, they make me want to do more. Also, [SBSM member Sepi Mashiahof] just did the music videos off of Systemic, and one off of [Divide & Dissolve’s 2021 LP] Gas Lit – she directed them, did all sorts of editing, she was amazing.
Everyone in this band, I feel so deeply honored to be friends with, and to have so much deep love and respect for their art practice. They’ve meant so much to so many people. I just feel it in my body – I’m just an ultimate fangirl! It’s been a dream of mine to play a show with them so hopefully one day!
