Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

1. Black Belt Eagle ScoutThe Land, The Water, The Sky

This was really special to me because I produced it. It was amazing to just be there with [Katherine Paul] recording this album, to see all the love and intention that was put into it, how Nicholas Wilbur of Anacortes Unknown Recording Studio worked. We all were such a great team, it was beautiful! I’ve never produced an album before; KP contacted me about that. It was wonderful to be able to go through this process for the first time.

I especially love the track ‘On the River’, it makes me smile so much. KP does such a phenomenal job writing all this music, performing it, playing the drums, the guitar, everything. I would love to produce more albums, I think it’s really fun, a really great perspective.
