3. Robbie BashoVisions Of The Country
This is a more recent discovery. Folk is a genre that I’ve not really connected to, but Robbie Basho probably is my way into it. In the same way, I’m not into metal at all, but I love Sunn 0))) because they’ve taken it to a certain extreme that I can connect with, maybe Robbie Basho is that with folk music for me. I love how emotionally raw he is and I can see how that can make people feel uncomfortable. The way he uses his voice, he’s so unashamed of his expression and it’s pure and just really beautiful.
