2. Francis BebeyPsychedelic Sanza 1982-1984

Francis Bebey used a lot of traditional string instruments and then the piano. This is on my list because my whole mission is to discover the cultures of the violin and the roots of it, because there are so many ancestors of the violin. Also, people like juxtaposition, and people get really into mixing hip hop and traditional [music] and instruments – sampling them in a way. And Francis Bebey was mixing electronic music with traditional string instruments.
