8. Superpitcher‘Voodoo’

This is one of Andrew’s discoveries that I would never have found to be honest. That is probably because this track is originally made to be played at 120 BPM. But it’s a wrong speeder, which is how you get the best out of it, in the sense that if you play it at 100 BPM then it goes from being this fairly run-of-the-mill tech house track to something completely different. Something that’s a kind of strange Dr John-eqsue number that is altogether more interesting. How did he find out this rather vital fact? The genius of Andrew Weatherall, that’s how.
