I’m a massive Machinedrum fan; no album ever sounds the same. I remember listening to this and my mind was blown by the sounds, because it was off the back of future garage, dubstep, footwork and various different crazy sounds within that time. I remember going to vintage shops and trying to bag a good deal with the very few pennies I had. And I got my iPod Classic, and I’d been walking around these shops with broken fucking headphones trying to get something. And even through these broken headphones I could hear how good the music was! It very much gives this warm yet cool inner city bubble that when you put it on, you feel so at peace.
