7. Cecil TaylorNuits De La Fondation Maeght Vol. 1

I bought this album recently at Cafe OTO. He’s definitely one of my favourite musicians ever, but when I put that album on it completely blew my mind. It’s a whole other way of playing and writing music. It’s so melodic and has amazing rhythm to it, but it’s such a brave way of not doing what people have done before.
