Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

I think Carlton and Aston Barrett were absolutely geniuses. I love Aston’s kind of bass
playing where it’s just like another melody, then Carlton’s drumming is so melodic as well,
but so unique. My friend sent me a link to Bob Marley’s 1978 Santa Barbara concert on YouTube, and it’s just absolutely incredible.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Theon Cross, Shirley Manson, Ghetto Priest, Neil Finn
