It’s how I found out about Delia Derbyshire, and then through this I got into Unit Delta Plus. I’ve always been amazed to find out how much music from that time period I haven’t heard. When I first heard this I couldn’t believe that something that creative and ground breaking would be so under the radar, but I guess there was a lot of competition in 1969…

I think this is one of my favourite albums now, once I’d heard it once I listened to it back to back about 50 times. It’s one of the most experimental albums I’ve heard, even to this day. It took about five years to make, and they had some kind of sponsorship from EMS synthesisers and they use the EMS Synthi VCS3. It’s the most collectible synth, the one I don’t have.
