And those guitars – they sound like they’re barely holding together, like they might fall apart at any second. But that’s the beauty of it. There’s something alive in that messiness, that rock could be something that wasn’t always pretty. It could be ugly, dissonant, uncomfortable. There was this incredible grime to it, and I loved that.
