Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

JR: I could tell that the guys making this thing knew what they were doing. They just know how to invoke this wave of fucking emptiness. I love that. That they can get their message across really well; within the first five seconds you’re like, ‘here we go’. All their records are really great, and this is one of the first tracks I heard from them. The production’s amazing, the songwriting is really good. Everything is just spot on.
