8. Donna SummerBad Girls

My dad had this album and I loved it. I mean, disco was at the height of everything when I was 12. I was into Kate Bush, but I was also listening to early hip hop and listening to so much disco, which was so much fun for me because I expressed my voice and danced around. But it’s funny, I remember when I started to get attention as Peaches, my dad said to me, “Oh, I know what you got inspired by. I used to play you Donna Summer”. Which is true. It was like a naughty thing.
