Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

Again another band that made me realise that you didn’t need to be super technically proficient in order to make amazing music. There were a lot of great bands around during that time from London, like God Machine and Silverfish and Th’ Faith Healers all making noisy music.

It was a really good time, and that record Lido still resonates with me and I can hear its influence in the way I play still.

The music was really simple, they were playing a bass guitar with only two strings on it, that’s all they needed to make great music. I try and keep that in mind when I am writing to this day.
