Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

Another tune from the late ’60s era that I didn’t understand why I loved, but I did, would have been this one, because my dad in particular really loved ‘Family Affair’. It’s a big favourite in my family with my pensioner mum and dad who remember this record with a particular fondness. The production, the excitement, the funk, the rock, all amazing.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Sathnam Sanghera, Richard Skelton, Bootsy Collins
