Talk about poetry! That lady…Holy shit. She is such a singular sound. That kind of uniqueness is really astounding when it comes along and you just savour it and hold it next to you and love it and feel so grateful for it all the time. I was in love with this record immediately. A friend played it for me in the car and I was like, ‘what the fuck is going on here’. I was immediately mesmerised. Nobody makes a record just with a fucking harp. The voicing is totally unusual and so lovely and complicated and gorgeous.
