Motörhead are absolutely undeniably one of the best, hardest hitting, no frills, rock bands ever. For many years I have sort of thought that the best three band bill possible would be (in any order) AC/DC, Ramones and Motörhead. Zero fucking around! On 25 October, 1986 I was in Scratch Acid and we got to open for Motörhead at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. Let me recount for you the conversation that Lemmy and I had. I was walking around a corner to get to our van, and Lemmy was walking the other way around the same corner. We bumped into each other, and I said, “excuse me” and he said, “excuse me”.
