10. Massive AttackMezzanine

It was a complete eye-opener to me. All of the music that I was so used to being connected to was not electronica at all. It was guitar based, rock music – very much what you’d expect – yet now here was something that is not like anything at all. It’s not like anything I’ll ever make but it’s so beautiful. Of course with Elizabeth Fraser as singer, like Kate Bush, she represents the pinnacle of what you can do with your voice and that was a big, big thing for me.
