Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

This is about thirty seconds long and it’s their best song. It used to be my entrance music. The sound guy would play it when it was time for me to go on stage and if I heard it from my dressing room I knew it was time to go on. But it’s beautiful, classic Moore Brothers and it’s that twisted Everly Brothers on crack thing that they do. They’re actual brothers, they work out of California. They only have one guitar and they just trade it back and forth on stage between themselves. Their songs are very acoustic and twisted which is unusual. It’s over before you want it to be over so you have to play it again and again.
