4. Frank SinatraThe Voice

He’s more subtle on this album than his music after. He doesn’t have that punctuated, typical Frank Sinatra sound on this record. It’s really cosy, and I know I used that word before. I think that when I take a break from music, and I’m not looking for music for dancing, I just seek things that have that cosy feeling. After this record, his music isn’t quite my thing. But this one is just so subtle, and the arrangements are really beautiful. I first heard this in college as well. It was one of the first I got when I was there.
