Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

4. Angelo HarmsworthSilent Orgasm

Again, another obscure artist I discovered accidently. Often I’ll discover someone or get a link on someone’s recommendation and see a couple of names, and I’ll go to Last.fm and read the little bios and I was intrigued by his bio. I thought: "This sounds interesting, it mentions drone, melancholy – I’m there!" So I listened on Rdio and it took about a minute to go, "Wow, this is amazing". Again, it has some timeless, archaic, antiquated, odd quality to it.
