2. The Conet ProjectRecordings Of Shortwave Numbers Stations
I got this when we were in the States for the first time with Circle. It was the first time I met Aquarius Records people like Andee Connors. They listened to it in the car, and it was the album of the week or month or something. So that was the reason I ordered this 4CD set. Andee Connors was our driver, and we drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles to play a gig and listened only to The Conet Project. I like this kind of like a mechanical system, there are different stories, secret messages, it’s some kind of spy system. I don’t listen to it very often, but I like the idea. It sounds similar to Einstein On The Beach by Philip Glass in some way. These numbers and messages: is it music or is it not? Sometimes I feel that it’s not music, but I would like to live in the world where it is music.
