10. Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin IV
Where do you even start? I was listening to this record only yesterday. My guitar player came over for rehearsal and we had this on the turntable. You can go on forever about this but I keep going back feeling and emotion. Half the record is the sonics and the tonality. I was seven years old when I first heard it. My brother was listening to a lot of R&B and my sister was listening to Pink Floyd, KISS and Led Zeppelin. So, depending on whom I annoyed the most, they would kick me out of their room into the other’s for a month. So, I got this whole menu of music from the rock end to the R&B/soul end, with a lot of stuff in between. This record got a lot of rotation then – and a lot more on the bus later when Kyuss hit the road. It was the perfect soundtrack to our lives at the time.
