7. JidennaLong Live The Chief
I love this track, and the video too. I just love Jidenna, honestly. The words in ‘Long Live the Chief’ I love, and the video too! If you could get an Oscar for a music video, I think he should get it. I would tell anyone to go watch it. I just love the way he dresses, and his classic look. He is also so genuinely himself, and you see it. It’s written all over him. Both he and his lyrics are amazing. I only recently got into him, he has this other song too that just came out – ‘Bambii’. I was like, "why haven’t I heard of this man before?" I’d actually heard of him but I’d never taken the time to really listen to his music, so I ended up having to catch up on it. Now everything I’ve listened to, I’ve loved. I’m thinking, “damn, man I should have been on him!”
