Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

12. PeachesRub

Peaches is someone that I really, really love. Because she’s very involved politically with feminism, sometimes this image she portrays goes against her as a musician and creator. Peaches has a fantastic sound and talent as a songwriter, with a concept for every song she makes that’s very unique.

It’s a mixture of Berlin techno meets Alison Goldfrapp meets East Coast hip-hop, mixed with political feminism and some Monty Python. For me she carries the future of music and is one of the most important artists of the 21st century and another artist that deserves far more recognition.
