Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

4. Death Cab for CutieTransatlanticism

Death Cab for Cutie — another Pacific Northwest indie rock band with really dynamic rock music. That was one of the first shows I went to that was super life-changing and set me on a path of wanting to be closer to that world and become a musician. I love [singer] Ben Gibbard’s songwriting. It’s still a band that’s super influential to me today. They’ve had such a long career and written so many great records. Transatlanticism has always been a favourite.
