Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

11. Alejandro JodorowskyThe Holy Mountain OST

A friend recommended me the film; it was amazing. Very unique somehow, weird and pseudo-spiritual. The soundtrack has so many different styles, but it’s all balanced and it works together very well. I think my favourite is ‘Tarot Will Teach You/Burn Your Money’, there are all these other songs that are like classical music or psych rock, but this you can’t really tell what it is. Some kind of ritual music. It seemed special. I like Jodorowsky, he seems to have a strong, unique vision. Maybe that spiritual aspect as well, but also it doesn’t seem to be too serious.
