7. The ProdigyThe Fat Of The Land

Again, I had heard them in a film. I’m not even really sure if it was Blade or some type of film that I was watching [‘Mindfields’ features in The Matrix]. I was like, ‘what is this?’ It was the best find of my life. The Prodigy is one of those that’s like, if you don’t know it, you don’t know what that did for culture. You’re missing out. This is a no-brainer, to me. And also lyrically really fly too. ‘Til this day, this should be on your top five, for everybody. It became a massive influence on all these really cool bands that understood the energy, even acts like Linkin Park, who were way mainstream. I think they wouldn’t have even understood what they were trying to do if it wasn’t for Prodigy.
