It’s such a great idea this, this mixture of electronic, disco, reggae, blues, salsa, new wave and funk. And the production, by Alex Sadkin – what he did is really some of the great inventions in this kind of genre of music. He uses this French chanson kind of accordion; it’s a wonderful idea, beautiful. That goes back to Juliette Gréco.
