Bob Dylan & The Band – Before the Flood

It wouldn’t be until the dust had settled, so to speak, and one of the first albums I bought after the flood was Before The Flood by The Band. Maybe I bought it because of the title but hearing The Band and Garth Hudson’s application of the keyboard just set me off, it dialled me in to a more sensible path from that point on. Sensible meaning something that I can maintain, something I can be part of, something that began to redefine my sonic trajectory.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Lord Spikeheart, Tom Ravenscroft
