Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

1.

Manic Street Preachers – The Holy Bible

The right record at the right time, it had an impact on me which no other album has yet, and possibly ever will. I love everything about it, and anybody who is reading this article will already be familiar with it, so there is no point in saying much else. The Manics remain my favourite band. Its rawness has also been a huge influence on me in terms of music production.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Lord Spikeheart, Tom Ravenscroft
