Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

4. Khruangbin, Leon BridgesTexas Moon

I discovered Khruangbin on one of our trips to America, and I heard this record in a café. There was just something about it – the warmth of the record. The fact they did the project with Leon Bridges, whose voice is so smooth, really drew me in. I’ve listened to it a lot over the years, and a lot while we were making this album. We played the BBC 6Music Festival together once, but we played early and they were on in the evening, so we missed each other. Hopefully another time.
