[When I heard this] I realized that the modality for obtaining the sound wanted was unimportant, and that, just because I knew some nice vocals… So what?

Nicholas Guerin hipped me to [Pierre Henry] and I started to realize that I’d better get serious about the voice. That is when I got into the multi-mic work, so I could rip the voice across the room – not an easy feat.
