Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

2. Minor ThreatOut Of Step

I don’t listen to this record as much as I used to in the early to mid-80s, but it was one of those life-altering LPs in that I was never the same afterwards. I used to own the first pressing. I sold off my record collection but I still have a fair amount I could never part with. I sold the first pressing of Out Of Step because I have other versions of it. But mostly, I wasn’t taking care of my records and they needed good homes. I’ve also moved quite a bit in the last decade and it’s no easy task to keep moving a massive record collection around.
