Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin II
I would have to list all of the Led Zeppelin collection if I could – there’ll all great albums. Led Zeppelin II was just, I think, the album that sums it up; and also it was the one that I heard as a child – later on I got into all the other albums. This album, with the drum solo, all the weird psychedelic stuff; that fascinated me when I was a kid, and right now I still regard that album as being one of the best Zeppelin albums. It’s their heaviest too, that’s why I like it! It was a Major, major influence – it was one of the albums that inspired me to play drums. I remember when I was first shopping for a drum set I would look at the Ludwig drums and the reason for that was John Bonham, I couldn’t at the time purchase one because they were too expensive – that was the peak of Ludwig – but he was number one to me.
