While at university I had a weekend job in a record shop in town where I was introduced to some incredible music by everyone working there. Every week was an education. It was the first time I’d heard records by NEU!, Silver Apples, Can… and they all blew my mind. I’ve picked Musik Von Harmonia on the week of Dieter Moebius’ death as a small tribute to one of the most forward-thinking musicians of the last century. It’s the kind of record that still sounds like it came from the future.
