Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

8. D Double EJackuum!

Obviously I had to put my ting on there you get me? That’s the realist ting. Being real is recognising where you are and where you come from. And I love all the cultures, I’ve got all culture in me, but when I do music I try to keep it UK and what we know, and try and represent us to a tee. So Jackuum is like the pinnacle of that. It’s like Snoop Dogg’s album, Doggystyle, how it’s real to LA, this is real to where we’re from. I’m not trying to sound like I’m from LA on my ting. This is where I’m from and their sound is where they’re from.
