AmRep ruled the world for me for years, The Melvins, Helmet, Hammerhead… Rock music at its purest, rawest. Glenn Branca-style disharmony and ‘anti’ -chords. They weren’t even on AmRep but the cartoonish, kamikaze-metal of Zeni Geva was the one and only reason why Arabrot would go to record with Albini in the first place.
