Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

6. Fleetwood MacRumours

I just think it’s a beautiful, beautiful record. I kind of like all periods of them. I like early Fleetwood Mac, when Peter Green was in the band, I like Rumours Fleetwood Mac, because, it took them a long time to get it right, but fuck me, when they got it right they got it right. But then I even like ‘Little Lies’ from the late 80s. I would go and see them if they were playing in Cardiff. Just an incredible band. They’re so uncool they’re probably becoming cool again. If you’d said you like Fleetwood Mac ten years ago people probably would have laughed.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Suzi Quatro, UNKLE, Martha Wainwright, Brix Smith-Start, Trans Am, Sam Fox
