9. The Saints(I’m) Stranded

I must acknowledge punk rock here and I think it was seeing Jonh Ingham’s review in Sounds saying this was great and then going to a shop and seeing it didn’t have a paper label, it was just pressed in black. And it looked like four fuckin’ layabouts on the front. I heard it not so long back and it’s fantastic! The music press was quite important to me. Certain writers. For a while Nick Kent because he was into the New York Dolls and Lou Reed and, like I told you earlier, I liked the idea of leather trousers.
