Fashion and the practise of being fashionable are about basing your self-worth on the surface elements and declaring it to the world. It’s phony without pretending to be otherwise. In that sense, it’s so much like Hollywood that it’s no wonder Tinseltown has returned to fashion well for movie after movie. Below is a list of ten films – some of them about fashion, some of them simply fashionable – that illustrate the striking similarities between the two shiny and sick worlds.
