As part of our ongoing celebrations of a decade of The Quietus, we asked our dozens upon dozens of fantastic contributors to pick their favourite albums of the site's existence. Below is their top 100, with an introduction by tQ staff writer Patrick Clarke
The albums that have kept us happy, strong, comforted and ALIVE in the past 12 months. A few notes: this chart was compiled by John Doran out of polls from Patrick Clarke, Christian Eede, Luke Turner, Anna Wood & himself based on the new albums they have listened to most since January 1. A few notes on the list: the annual Quietus chart was compiled by Luke Turner, John Doran, Christian Eede and Karl Smith and based largely on what we've listened to and loved the most over the year rather than any attempt at consensus and objectivity.
